What no one tells you is that burnout doesn’t show up all at once.  It creeps in……through sleepless nights, compromised health, increased irritability, lack of motivation, or a nagging sense that something’s off.

The most dangerous part? You’ve normalized it. You tell yourself it’s just a phase……that you’ll rest after the next deadline, the next quarter, the next milestone. But that “next” never comes.

It isn’t just about long hours or heavy workloads…… it’s about misalignment.

It doesn’t just drain your energy, it chips away at your physical, mental, and emotional well-being in ways that are easy to dismiss, but impossible to ignore for long. You may still be showing up and getting things done, but internally, the effects are compounding.

  • Your relationships are running on leftovers. You cancel plans, snap at your partner, zone out mid-conversation……not because you don’t care, but because you’re exhausted and have nothing left to give.

  • You barely recognize yourself. You’ve done everything “right,” yet something’s missing. You’re checking the boxes, but it feels like you’re watching your life from the outside in.

Burnout doesn’t just make you tired, it rewires how you think, how you show up, and how you experience life.

The symptoms are easy to dismiss as “just stress,” but they are warning signs.
